
APC stalwart, Al’ameen congratulates party over success of governorship primaries

The Bauchi State Chairman of Govermorship Aspirants Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Al’ameen Sani Muhammad has congratulated the party over its successful governorship primary election in the State.
The APC chief in a statement shared with journalists on Friday also felicitated with former Chief of Air Staff, Sadiq Baba Abubakar who won the majority of votes cast by delegates at the gubernatorial primary election of the party.
He described the primary election as free and fair devoid any rancour.
“I acknowledge and deeply appreciate the sacrifice and magnanimity shown by the other aspirants for their doggedness to fast-track a rancour free process of nominating a guber candidate.
“Those noble party stalwarts who sacrificed their ambition for the supremacy of the party include, Chairman of the Forum of APC Governorship Aspirants, my humble self that withdrew from the race in the best interest of the party to make things easier, and the remaining seven aspirants who contested. Each one of them got what Allah gave them.
“I want to hail the resilience and undying faith of our teeming members in the state, being the spine of the party, which has seen the party emerge victorious from one election year to another in the state since it was founded.
“The unity of purpose among our leaders has engendered a mature internal democracy culture, the sort that gave birth to the free, fair and transparent primary election which surely is the envy of our opponents. I want enjoin all our party members to join hands together in other to rescue our dear state,” he said.
