Our Correspondent reports that since November 2021, when the newly recruited teachers were absorbed in the state government’s payroll and posted to their various places of primary assignments across the 13 Local Government Areas of the state, nothing had been paid as remuneration for their services.

The Speaker, through his Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna, gave the commendation in a statement made available to newsmen in Lafia on Sunday, to mark the 2022 Workers Day celebration.

He noted that the gesture of the Governor would improved the standard of living of the 496 teachers and their family members.
