As the 2023 general election draws near, the frontline aspirant in Oshimili North Constituency for the Delta State House of Assembly seat, Chief Ekitu Kenneth Agbomah, has rolled out his vision for the great people of his constituency, if elected into office.

 

Rolling out his 6 Point Agenda on Thursday in Asaba, the philanthropist noted that he is fact driven, pragmatic leader with domestic and international ideas, which makes him a perfect blend of both worlds.

 

According to the political leader, his administration will focus on electricity, health, education, road infrastructure, youth empowerment and security.

He said: “Electricity: I will work towards ensuring that the entire Oshimili North Constituency get electrified, by working with the existing power company to make it a reality. Also, I will create initiatives to diversify into sustainable renewable energy such as solar energy to provide jobs for the teaming youths.

 

“Health: I will revamp the healthcare sector to full capacity by working with the executive arm of government. We would create a “true state of the art” healthcare system while simultaneously caring for our healthcare heroes.

“Education: I will sponsor bills that promote and strengthen basic education and create conducive learning environment for our children. I will also create a meritorious and sustainable scholarship fund for our people. I already have the Kenneth Ekitu Agbomah Support Organization (KEASO), which distributes educational learning materials for primary and secondary schools to alleviate the expenses of our parents and guardians across the entire Oshimili North Local Government periodically. I will also sponsor a bill to build ICT Centers in every political wards in Oshimili North Constituency.

 

“Roads Infrastructure: I will propose for the construction of viable roads and explore other infrastructural opportunities across Oshimili North Constituency. I will also promote commerce for rural farmers.

“Youth Empowerment: I will create an annual sports competition to engage our talented youths to provide a leverage that will enable our best to access international drafting to bigger competitions. I will also embark on social innovations and empowerments such as Manufacturing, Processing, Packaging and Distribution of Agricultural products.

 

“Security: I will propose a bill that would equip the security agencies with modern, tactical combat gears and vehicles, in the pattern of what is obtainable in advanced climes.”

Chief Ekitu who is a ‘Son of the soil’ was born and raised in Ebu, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta state. As a God-fearing husband and father, a true and visionary leader, Hon. Ekitu said he wants absolutely nothing but to transform Oshimili North LGA to a model constituency.
