Child trafficking: See what couple did to their 1 month old baby.
A couple has been detained on suspicion of selling their one-month-old baby (Child Trafficking) for N50,000.
Men from the Ogun State police command have detained a couple from the Ilara area of Ode Remo, in the Remo North local government area of Ogun state, for allegedly selling their one-month-old baby for 50,000 naira.
The accused, Eze Onyebuchi and his wife Oluchi Eze, were apprehended on December 16, 2021, after police at Ode Remo divisional headquarters received information that the pair who live at Ayegbami street Ilara Remo willingly sold their one-month-old infant to a woman who is now at large.
Following the tip, CSP Olayemi Fagbohun of the Dpo Ode Remo division dispatched his detectives to the area, where the couple was apprehended and taken to the station.
