The Super Falcons advanced to the semi-finals of the ongoing Women's Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON.
This also has earned them a record ninth consecutive FIFA Women's World Cup appearance on Thursday after Rasheedat Ajibade scored the only goal in the quarterfinal match between Nigeria and Cameroon.
