Former Speaker Yakubu Dogara has been chastised by some youths from Mwari community in Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State over an alleged letter to the Inspector General of Police in which he cited security threats in the proposed remembrance anniversary of the tribe's late leader, Baba Peter Gonto.
At a news conference held at the NUJ Secretariat in Bauchi, the group's chairman, Isuwa Samaila, accused the former speaker, who represents Dass, Tafawa Balewa, Bogoro federal constituency, of misleading the public about the purported security lapse.
