La HEGJ University, BENIN is a bi-lingual institution founded in 2006 and domiciled in Cotonou, Benin republic with licenses to award undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in various fields of study.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR FRESHMEN, TRANSFER AND DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS

Admission is based on your complete academic history and achievement in two main areas: your grades, and completion of required subjects. In addition, LAHEGJ allows advanced standing or transfer credit for undergraduate program.

Admission Requirements

High School/Secondary School (Freshman)
  • Five O’ Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit passes at not more than two
    sittings to include English, Mathematics, Literature in and any other 2 social sciences or Arts
    subjects are required for admission into Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
  • Five O’ Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit passes
    at not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and
    Biology are required for Admission into the Faculty of Engineering, Pure and Applied Science
    Programmes.
  • Other Programmes: Five O’ Level {WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit passes at
    not more than two sittings to include English Language ,Mathematics and three{3}other
    subjects relevant to course study.
Direct Entry/ Transfer Students
  • Candidates can apply for Direct Entry with either HND, ND, JUPEP, IJMB or IGCSE (A-LEVEL).
    Direct Entry/Inter university Transfer admissions are also available for all courses listed above .
    Applicant are to obtain the application form at any of the designated selling points. NOTE: That
    the bank Tellers are to be presented along with the completed registration forms(s) at the
    University Campus .

The Vocational and Technical Institute is for students at LAHEGJ who seek to expand thier skill set

Students can take professional courses at Vocational and Technical Institute and earn professional certificate at the same time while undergoing thier degree program.

Courses last for a period of 6 months and 3 months respectively
