Isuwa, on the other hand, challenged Dogara, claiming that the late Baba Gonto was a leader of the Zaar tribe and that the Mwari youths were in favor of the program in his honor.

“We would like to express unequivocally that we, the youth of Mwari, are in support of the event and are actively involved in all of the events, so no one should deceive the world into thinking we are not.”

“Baba Gonto was a politician, a devout religious leader, and a trailblazer in Sayawa land, whose aims included spreading the message of peace and harmony among his people.

“We are astonished that Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, Mwari’s in-law, would oppose a banquet honoring the late Sage, Baba Gonto,” says Mwari “he stated

The forum Chairman stated that the reception’s organizers’ primary goal is to create unity within and around the Zaar nation.

He explained that the purpose of the event is to highlight late Baba Gonto’s past accomplishments for youngsters to follow, as well as to establish a foundation in the late Sage’s name to support Sayawa sons and daughters.
